Back Home!

My wife and I just had the best vacation in SCAL, without our darling children - to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. It was a spectacular time, relaxing and fun. Got to swim a couple of times, see my brothers and also my friend Eugene and his wife Ximena, along with their 7month old darling girl.

It was a great time, we missed our kids a lot and are so glad to be home. What FUN! Back home with GREAT weather here, lots of tomatoes to eat and a monster 2 foot zuchini. ;)

Off I go to SCAL.

Oh yeah, another cool day!

So this morning it was almost "cold" when I got up. Cool air, clouds made for a great morning. Now in an all-day meeting - FUN!

Yeah, it cooled down!

Temps dropping into the 50's at night, 70's during the day. NICE.

It made for a great morning as I walked Manu to his pre-school (or I say in the summertime it is "Fun School"). It was cool out, and we saw them spraying water from a fixture under the roadway, about 15 feet into air. I guess it was to relieve pressure on the area that they are doing construction on. Anway, what a nice walk, we talked about trucks, school, and birds. We also found a cool "stick gun" that we kept. Oh, and he wants to play some video games when he comes home.

I LOVE MY GARDEN AND YARD!

What fun it is to water, clip, cut and tend to our great yard and garden. Too many raspberries to eat, lots of tomatoes, lettuce, etc. Viva Portland!

Is there much better than this town?

Me thinks not. The pleasantness of the people in this city is wonderful. Only here do you have people come by for chats, their kids playing with ours. . .and in the end it builds such a great community feel that you'd never want to leave.

I know, silly topic. . .but Yakisoba noodles in a tomato/hoisin base, with ample veggies and a little Braggs Amino's and it's heavenly brain food. Well, that's it for now. :)
